Appltree Estates is located on the 100 block of North Russell Street.
These residential units are centrally located near the Marion junior
high-school, the IGA grocery store, the Power gas station, the new CVS pharmacy
and store, and the Russell Street city park. Appletree Estates offers
quality, affordable apartments for those seeking quiet, dignified residential
living.
Appltree Estates is a large un-crowded
complex comprised of four separate, two-story, colonial-style, all-brick,
buildings arranged in the four corners of a beautiful, spacious courtyard.
The courtyard is landscaped with flowering crab apple trees, holly trees that
stay green all year, and nicely trimmed evergreen hedges along the fronts of the
buildings. The front of each building faces into the courtyard and has a
huge covered concrete patio porch perfect for lounging out on in the evenings.
Each building contains four residential units, two up and two down. All of
the units are two bedroom, single full bath, modern kitchen with walk in pantry,
closet storage space, and a large living/dining room area. Each unit has
central a/c and heat, as well as storm windows for added insulation. Every
residential unit has the same floor layout, however some vary slightly in
decoration. Several of the apartments have new wallpaper, ceiling
fan/light fixtures, and/or designer paint jobs.
These are not "party houses".
Management is seeking mature professional adults, families, graduate students,
or upper classmen only. A non-refundable $15/person fee for credit check
is required. Units are offered on the basis of a 1 year lease, with the
first month's rent paid in advance, together with a security deposit
equal to one months rent. Monthly rent is only
$495.
Water is paid for by
the land lord for all units. All other utilities are tenant
responsibilities.
