        Lake Wind Estates is located on a quiet, 1 block long, private country lane only 0.5 miles from Crab Orchard National Refuge and Lake.  Also, the duplexes are less than 5 miles from SIUC campus and just 2 miles from John A. Logan Community College.  As such, they all afford peaceful privacy and comfortable living for mature students away from the hustle and bustle of on- campus activities.

    Lake Wind Estates is comprised of two brick buildings positioned next to each other with the front of the buildings facing north.  Each building contains two units a piece, and each unit is three bedrooms.  Currently there are three units available for rent.  Every unit has its own separate, unique characteristics differing each from the next.  However they all share some commonalities such as, each unit is at least 1000 sq. ft., three bedrooms, large living/dining rooms, modern kitchens and baths, new appliances, central heat and air, washer/dryer hookups, ceiling fans, and ample parking.  Some of the unique features include private enclosed patios, patios with outdoor lighting and grill/fire pit, laminated wood floors, electric corner fireplace, and ceramic kitchen and bathroom tile.  Rent also varies from unit to unit.  Rent ranges between $595 to $795 per unit.

      These are not "party houses".  Management is seeking mature professional adults, families, graduate students, or upper classmen only.  A non-refundable $15/person fee for credit check is required.  Units are offered on the basis of a one year lease, with the first months rent paid in advance, together with a security deposit equal to one months rent.  Water is paid for by the land lord for all  some units.  All other utilities are tenant responsibilities.
